Ben Manics is an emerging New York City based stand-up comedian and actor. His dry, sardonic, and cerebral brand of comedy is a direct extension of his upbringing in the mind-numbingly bucolic and scenic mountains of the Hudson Valley. From bits like “Eating the Rich", to “Edgar Allen Poe”, to "Killing Yourself Politely", Ben points out the minutiae within the hell we all share.
Ben’s comedy has been influenced by John Mulaney, Denis Leary, and Jon Stewart, among others, and he has been mentored by comedy veterans Jim Mendrinos and Rick Crom. He has performed at various NYC comedy clubs including Gotham Comedy Club, The Comedy Cellar, Stand Up NY, and The NY Comedy Club. |
